What i did

I designed a tattoo based on the character Vi from Arcane a Netflix series.

Research

I listened to music from YouTube related to Arcane to get into the shows feel. Meanwhile, I delved into the history of the characters. I read brief bios and got an idea of who Vi is as well as Vi’s sister Jinx.

Sketch

I did multiple thumbnail sketches for composition inspiration before beginning to build in Illustrator and other Adobe tools.

I coordinated with the client to decide on the direction for the design and then began to adjust the background and details.
